Scope

This policy explains how Finance Charts handles information when you use thefinancecharts.com. Finance Charts is designed primarily as a public financial-education website; ordinary visitors do not need to create an account to use the public calculators and guides.

Technical information used to deliver the site

Calculator inputs and shared URLs

Finance Charts calculators are designed to perform their interactive calculations in the browser. Some tools place the selected assumptions in the page URL so a scenario can be bookmarked or shared. Because URL query strings can appear in browser history, shared links and standard server or CDN logs, do not enter confidential or personally identifying information into calculator fields.
